I live in Colorado with my husband Erik and daughter Nora. I am a stay-at-home mom. I worked as a Pediatric Nurse before we had Nora.
We are in the process of adopting a little girl from China. You can see our adoption timeline under the adoption tab above.
I love photography, good books, authentic ethnic food, skiing, my church family, thrifting for vintage treasures, flea markets, decor magazines, spending time with good friends, international travel and the Rocky Mountains.
The title of this blog refers to Psalm 90:4 and God's sovereign rule over space and time:
For You, a thousand years are as a passing day,
as brief as a few night hours.
It also reflects that reality of life with young children: "The days are long but the years are short."
